TEXAS-BORN. BUILT WITH BACKBONE.
We don’t follow trends. We follow instinct.
We look you in the eye. We mean what we make. With quiet confidence and a rebellious streak, AKERS builds
heirloom jackets—stitched with grit, finished with soul, and made to last.
Worn hard. Kept, and passed down, forever.

About us
JACKETS THAT LAST GENERATIONS
Built in the Texas desert and raised on principle, AKERS stands for character, craftsmanship, and living with intent.
Each jacket carries the soul of the West—not the costume, but the code.
Made to move with you. Speak for you. And last far longer than the season.
This isn’t fast fashion. This is legacy you can wear.

NOSTALGIA AND LOVE FOR RETRO
AKERS pulls from the character of lived-in denim, the weight of worn leather, and the quiet luxury of a Porsche down a dirt road.
We blend the timelessness of vintage garments with a backbone of modern purpose.
Our jackets don’t nod to trends.

MADE TO LAST
Every AKERS jacket was designed by an El Paso boy, shaped by growing up in the West, and refined through the lens of L.A.’s patternmakers.
Crafted by skilled hands in Georgia, we work only with trusted partners who build things right—cut to endure, stitched with care, and made to stand the test of time.
AKERS started with a thrifted jacket—but really, it came from a deeper frustration. Everything felt fake. Instagram. The fast fashion. The corporations. The world. I was working as a lawyer at the time, and like most lawyers will tell you, the job doesn’t feed the soul. So I rolled the dice. Said, "screw it—I’ll make the thing I wish existed." Like any real artist or musician, the work is just an honest projection of the self. This brand is no different. It’s not a business plan—it’s a projection. A vision. A voice. I’m not just making jackets—I’m trying to build something I believe in. Something that means something. If people resonate with that—if they get it—then great. If not, maybe I’m crazy. Money and success aside, I just want to make something dope. Something I can be proud of. That’s AKERS. And shoutout to Gary & Terry Ackers—for the name inspiration and the memories at Elephant Butte and the ranch. Rest in peace, Terry.
